House of Europe is a European Union programme that supports professional and creative exchange between Ukrainians and Europeans. The platform provides grants, residencies, training, and opportunities for collaboration in culture, education, media, healthcare, youth work, and social entrepreneurship. During the war, it has also become a humanitarian and stabilisation tool to support Ukrainian society.
The challenge: To create a bilingual website for the EU programme that combines institutional identity, ease of use, and flexible content management. The resource had to clearly communicate all programme opportunities, offer user-friendly registration for applicants, and be equally effective for local NGOs, independent professionals, and international partners.
The project included:
– Target audience analysis and development of a content structure
– UI/UX design focused on accessibility and transparency
– Adaptive website development with easy management via custom CMS
– Tools for application submission, grant filtering, and programme archive
– Bilingual interface (UA/EN)
The result: House of Europe website became the digital hub of the programme's communications. It is visited by thousands of Ukrainians every month in search of opportunities, while the team can easily update content and launch new initiatives. The interface remains simple and human-centred, even when guiding users through complex bureaucratic processes.
