"Magyar's Birds" is the informal name of the 414th Separate Brigade of Strike Unmanned Aerial Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has become a symbol of technological superiority and battlefield ingenuity. Its commander, Robert "Magyar" Brovdi, is one of the most recognized figures of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The unit’s visual identity has already become part of Ukraine’s modern military folklore.
Main objective: To create a modern, emotionally powerful website for the unit’s public communications. The platform had to be convenient for civilians, partners, donors, and volunteers. Its core function is fundraising and informing about the brigade’s activities — while preserving the combat spirit and adhering to security protocols.
Project scope included:
– UX research and content structure based on target user scenarios (donations, news, contact),
– responsive layout with a focus on mobile experience,
– integration of payment systems and donation tools,
– a visual language based on authentic frontline materials,
– secure hosting infrastructure tailored to the needs of a military project.
Result: "Magyar’s Birds" received a combat-ready, yet technologically refined website that reinforces the unit's image, speeds up fundraising, and serves as a gateway for engaging with the home front. It strengthens public recognition, unites the community, and contributes to victory.
